The Web Summit 2015 is over again and everyone has gone back home, tired but full of new ideas and inspiration! We were very happy to be part of this event again.

It was 3 crazy days with drones herding coloured sheep, robots brewing beer and fitness tracking for cows. I want to say “What happens in Dublin, stays in Dublin!”, but we’ll share our experiences with you…

Some numbers…

42.000 people from 134 countries came to Dublin the past week for the Web Summit.

199.054 tweets were send out about the Web Summit with its 1.000 speakers & 2.141 Start-ups exhibited.

Our view on the summit in a few lines…

In just one sentence I would say there were lots of robots and wearables. Also the big question “is the smartphone dead?” was pretty interesting.

There were 150 Belgian Start-ups showing their products & services, like Teamleader & Beeple.

We met so many clever & enthusiastic people, wanting to make the world a better place with their products. They are fearless and full of passion and this gives you just the kick you need to start innovating yourself!

It was also kind of a bittersweet edition of the Web Summit as it will be held in Lisbon for the next three years and Dublin is no more… Another downside was the size and the number of talks or things to do. It is just impossible to see & do it all and choosing is unfortunately also losing.

Our favorite talks…
